Stella + Daniel Married | Los Angeles, CA

Samuel Cosa

Stella and Daniel's Wedding is the most creative and personlity-filled Wedding we have ever had the honor of photographing! From the "Hello Kitty" Wedding cake to doggies in tuxedos and tutus, buttons with cartoon images of the Bride + Groom... AND... so much more! Stella and Daniel's Wedding was truly full of life and gave all their close family and friends an inside look at their creative and quirky personalities, and their vibrant Love.

Daniel vowed to be the best Godly man that he could possibly be - with God's strength. Stella and Daniel: It is our prayer that you would both live long, God-honoring lives, individually and in your marriage. That you would lay down your lives for each other daily, and that you would look to Jesus as the perfect example of selflessness, grace and Love. Thank you both so much for the amazing opportunity to be along-side you both on your Wedding Day! We are grateful beyond words! We hope you enjoy browsing through these photos as you remember all the fun, joy, laughter, and true love that you experienced on your Wedding Day! Enjoy!

God bless,

FROM THE BRIDE

When Daniel and I first walked into the Smogshoppe we instantly knew this was the placed to wanted to get married in. This was actually the first venue we visited and the last, we didn't need to look any further!! It was unbelievable to find a venue that perfectly fit exactly what we wanted on our big day and the venue was already fully decorated that it was really easy for us to work around. The walls filled with succulent plants helped us save on flower cost because no other decoration was really needed. I always had soft spot for anything pink, sparkly, girly and romantic and Daniel was always a fan of anything and everything vintage so we resorted to flea markets almost every weekend to find props and I also found tons of great little things on etsy. Everything we purchased was used during our e-session as well so everything from our engagement shoot to our wedding tied together.

Daniel being a interior designer really loves to be hands on making things and I have always loved doing arts and crafts so we really took the time to do tons of DIY,we felt like this made everything a little more personal. It's a good thing we had a year and a half engagement because we had plenty of time to get things done. Daniel refinished some of the props we found to make it look more vintage, we collected various types of different lace and crochet ribbons for the ball jar vases we used for our centerpieces, got pieces of vintage wood and made frames for the seating chart and menus, played with tissue paper and metallic streamers to make our own balloons, cut different types of pink and white fabrics for our dessert bar back drop and we also created all the paper goods with the custom bride&groom logo that was designed by a graphic design friend of ours. We loved our logo so much that we had to use it on other things for the wedding as well.

Daniel and I are the types to remember all the littles things wherever we go because those are actually what puts the final touch into everything so we made sure that we had little details tucked in here and there  for our guests to find like little pin back buttons with the bride and grooms face which was a hit as well as little matchboxes with our logos stamped on them. We also made sure to include our favorite little ones, our lovely doggies!! They had so much fun getting dressed up for the big day too and we also had little doggie bag's with treats for guests to take home to their little ones as well.

From the dress to the venue everything was just perfect and exactly what I had wanted my wedding to be. We were very blessed to find all of our vendors who understood our vision clearly and made all this possible. My favorite part was the Hello Kitty cake that was placed on top of our cupcake tower. It was a dream come true to see my favorite childhood character come to life on my big day. We wanted the overall atmosphere of our wedding to feel more like a big party rather than a typical wedding and that's exactly how our guest felt when they arrived. The cozy venue, lounge chairs and coffee tables, walls of succulent greens, and serving our main dish family style really helped people interact and have a good time. The photobooth was also great because we really wanted our guests to capture all the fun moments at the wedding and it was so much fun for us to go back and see all the photos and see how much fun everyone was having. It was a lot of work and lots of planning involved but we couldn't be happier with the results, looking back on that day now we can't think of anything that we would want to change. We are so thankful to all our friends, families, vendors for making our big day such a memorable one, a day we will never forget:)
