A Military gentleman... A radiating bride... A beautiful horse. Jenna + Ben's Wedding at a private family home was pure perfection. These two are so sweet, so kind, and so made for each other. We've all heard of the term, "a match made in heaven." Well, Jenna and Ben are the epitome of that phrase! They are so beautiful and we could not have asked for a more incredible couple! Below are a few of our favorite images captured during their Big Day. Enjoy!

When we envisioned our wedding we wanted guests to feel like they were walking through a storybook as our romance played out before their eyes. We wanted it to be an opportunity for us to share our history and bring our family and friends together. Our homestyle wedding turned into just that!
While we were finishing college on opposite sides of the country we would read books together over video chat. It was a unique time in our relationship that allowed us to pour into each other and we wanted to pay tribute to a memory that helped pave the road for a fairytale.
On weekends we scoured vintage bookstores to find classics novels for our wedding décor, and being the bookworms that we are, we often came home with a few new reads for ourselves! Having traveled across the country together over the past several years it was important to incorporate our adventures into our wedding in a way that continued to narrate our story. We decided to swap out traditional table numbers for places around the world that we’ve journeyed to. We nestled a summary of why that place is memorable to us into a book that rested on each table, alongside a photograph from each venue.
I have always loved creative projects so I ended up making most of our wedding décor. I painted our wooden signs and table frames, made our programs, book centerpieces, ring bearer book and with the help of my incredible sister and one of my bridesmaids we were able to create all the floral bouquets and centerpieces. We drove to the flower market in Los Angeles armed with caffeine and wedding fever. Two hours later our car was stuffed to the brim with flowers and we were headed home to begin arranging. Ben and I love that every piece of our celebration has a personal touch. Our parents helped hang our signs, move furniture and were a calming presence. The entire celebration was truly a labor of love with help from so many people that mean the world to us. Our ceremony and reception captured us perfectly. It really does happen in the blink of an eye, but it truly was a perfect day!!! We feel blessed beyond words and we’re both excited to see where the next chapter takes us!
